Security Day - 3rd Computer Networks Meetup

Saturday, December 6th, 2014, 7:30am, everything ready for the 3rd Computer Networks Meetup, themed “Security Day,” in Block C, room 11, at Universidade Tiradentes.

Speakers arriving, sound checked, projector working… and no attendees in sight. We ended up having to cancel the morning talks and apologize to the speakers, but we still had hope people would show up for the afternoon mini-courses (waking up early on a Saturday for a free event is always a hard sell). And that’s exactly what happened: in the afternoon we had the mini-courses with attendees spread across the rooms, which lifted our spirits, since we’d had over 70 sign-ups and only two people had shown up in the morning. Despite everything, it felt like a job well done.
