A New Take on Baidu

Day three of Campus Party 2015, and I stopped by the Baidu booth — it caught my attention because I had questions: I’d been using Baidu PC Faster and, while I liked the software a lot, I was always a bit wary it might be malware, since I didn’t really know the platform. After talking with the team, I understood their pitch and discovered another product: Baidu Browser, which makes browsing much easier, with one-click torrent downloads and video downloads straight from the browser — far more practical and cheaper than having a separate extension for every feature.
Now I use the Antivirus, PC Faster, and Browser, confident they’re not malicious apps, and the best part: all free. One of the most useful features for CPBR8 was sharing my PC’s Wi-Fi with just two clicks.
