I am currently a Back-end Tech Lead at Zup, an Itaú company.
I lead a team of developers migrating Itaú legacy projects with generative AI, using agentic applications — especially StackSpot, built in Python.
I also work directly on modernizing COBOL applications to Java on AWS, using AWS Q Transform and Kiro.
At Zup, I also contributed to the back-end development of the iti app, mainly using .NET Core and Kotlin — from pipeline creation
to microservices observability.
I have worked as a Full Stack developer with .NET since 2012, from .NET Framework 3.5 to 4.6.1 (WebForms and MVC), with experience in Angular, Ionic, and Flutter, among other technologies.
Currently, my main day-to-day stacks are AWS, Python, Java, and AI/ML.
I hold a degree in Internet Systems from UNIT (Universidade Tiradentes) and I am pursuing a Master's degree in
Computer Science at UFBA (Federal University of Bahia), with a research focus on Data Analysis and Visualization.
I have experience in Software Engineering techniques and agile development — system modeling, requirements
specification, project management models, Scrum, Kanban, among others. I coordinated developer teams
at Serveloja, where we built payment management applications for card terminals, and I was responsible for ensuring the team's deliveries.
During my undergraduate studies, I volunteered at Mozilla, running Webmaker workshops, organizing events,
and contributing to Firefox development. I was also an MSP (Microsoft Student Partner), helping organize events
and teaching courses such as S2B (Students for Business).
Experience
AI Tech Lead - Senior Software Engineer
Aracaju, SE
I currently work as the Tech Lead of a squad with eight developers, migrating legacy applications built in COBOL and .NET Framework 3.5 from on-premises environments to modern applications using Python and AI-based tools — specifically StackSpot, AWS Transform, and Kiro.
I started as a Senior Developer on a billing project for the Recovery client. Later, I had the opportunity to work as a Senior Back-end Developer using .NET Core and Kotlin on the iti project.
Over the past six years at the company, I also worked on modernization projects as part of the Itaú Deprecation initiative, acting as a Full Stack Developer using Angular 12, .NET Core 6, and AWS cloud services.
On the iti banking app, also from Itaú, the focus was on C# and Kotlin applications with high availability and resilience.
IT Coordinator - Serveloja
Aracaju, SE
I acted primarily in team organization as a technical leader and Scrum Master, in addition to supporting development and analysis.
We used C# with Web Forms applications and APIs, Angular and React on the front-end, SQL Server as the database, and Azure for infrastructure.
I was responsible for all production deliveries from the development team, reporting directly to the CEO and working directly with stakeholders to identify pain points and improve the product.
Worked partially remotely from Aracaju, SE, on back-end development with .NET Core using DDD architecture and some microservices concepts, persisting data in an Oracle database. On the front-end, I developed with Angular 8 and libraries like Bootstrap.
Systems Analyst - Simplificauto
Aracaju, SE
Worked on back-end development with .NET Core and mobile front-end with Flutter (Dart). We used DDD architecture and some microservices concepts, persisting data in a PostgreSQL database. Everything was deployed on AWS and versioned with Git Flow. Scrum was used for project management.
Systems Analyst (Contractor) - Connectlead
Aracaju, SE
Worked on back-end development with .NET Core. We used DDD architecture and some microservices concepts, persisting data in a PostgreSQL database. Everything was deployed on AWS and versioned with Git Flow. Scrum was used for project management.
Software Engineer II - Serveloja
Aracaju, SE
During this phase, we started migrating part of the system to Angular 2, consuming the API hosted on Azure and developed in C#. At the same time, I was accepted into a Master's program in Salvador, BA, and began working partially remotely. \o/
Software Engineer I - Serveloja
Aracaju, SE
In this new phase at the company, I worked on client requests, proposing and developing a native app for Windows and Windows Phone in C#. I used GitHub for versioning and Trello (Kanban) for task management. Later, I resumed migrating the Web system's front-end (WebClient), developed with .NET 4.5 and Web Forms, making it partially responsive and standardizing the layout, while also improving legacy code.
Web Developer III - Serveloja
Aracaju, SE
Web development with Web Forms and SQL Server.
